Great advice, friendly people, and lots of frogs!
The best way to spend a Friday night is to blast your favorite music loudly and to sing along. My boyfriend has a strong disdain for every type of music I like, so my time alone I genuinely treasure. As I am singing along to All Time Low, I noticed that my New Mexico Spadefoot colony (the new ones. Only two of the seven have names...Doctor Wiggles and Lumpkin, should anyone care) started croaking along. I went to peer in their cage, and noticed that a couple of the males had their throats ...
Bertie's sides were contracting in and out twice and at the same time there was a medium-pitched, broken croaking sound. I didn't see his throat so I can't be sure it was him but I'm sure the sound and his sides moving were simultaneous! He's only about 10-11months old but it seems we may have a boy! We'll find out for sure in the next few months
