    Default Pepe! Clown tree frog

I have been meaning to do this for a while (look at all my old posts, I always promise to upload pics ) but now I finally am! I tried (and will finish tonight on my own computer) to make an album of it, but on this computer at work (yep haha) the upload is tooo slow. So I got some good pictures of Pepe last night (unfortunately Guadalupe de Maria was still hiding so no pictures of her ) and I have finish adding some plants to the terrarium....I hope y'all enjoy!
This is how the terrarium now looks. I glued those pots on there to have some vines coming down and wraping around the fake vines and ledges in there. Then I added this little plant with the red viens in its leaves cause I thought it added color to the tank! (Sorry I can't remember its name right now)

This is Pepe! Hiding in his little branch.

This is how I go check on them at night...I take my little flashlight I keep on my night stand and just sit in my office chair trying to find them. So much fun to watch.

And then here is one I took of Pepe on a leaf a little farther away than the other pictures.

Very cool!! I love the clown tree frogs. Do they generally stay hidden? I also LOVE how you put the pots there, what a great simple idea for mounting some plants!!

Very nicely done and thanks for the pics. Use good lighting and those plants will grow like crazy.
Plenty of climbing and hiding too. Again, really nice.

I bet a lot of us have flashlights nearby for the same thing. I routinely check on mine with a light and just have the edge of the beam enter the tank until I find them.

I have a little flashlight setting next to my tank that I use to peek too

I love them too! Ever since I first found the forum and saw the clown tree frog photo of the month and my subsequent research on them! I have one frog (Pepe) who is very active, sits out in the open on branchs and is generally very visible at night. He is also the one who calls (which is just a lovely sound!). The other (Guadalupe de Maria) hides all the time, and as soon as she thinks I find her or am looking at her, she finds cover. They are super fast frogs, tho...they jump far and so quick usually I just notice the plant move and wala, the frog is in a new spot. (I have seen Pepe just walking around tho...). I am generally unable to find them during the day, super-hiders, that's what they are!

Thanks! I love the pots too (the tank was really incomplete without them)! They just have vines in them and I put some fake stuff (like that branch and the ledge) near them so the vines will wrap around some stuff...the pots were actually a little harder than I thought they would be...I think next time I will make sure to put them in there as I build it to begin with and probably use silicone!

That is a good idea to use silicone. I am starting a viv from scratch so I could do that right away. You have given me some good ideas
