Default Older Pacman Staying Buried and Not Eating

I have an older Pac who I have had for about 5 years, but he was already fully grown when I got him. I have not changed anything about his environment. He recently has been staying buried and has not been eating. This has been going on for about 3-4 months. I will bring him up and soak him every month or so, but he immediately goes back underground when I return him to his tank. He has gone through periods of staying buried before, but never this long. Is this normal? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You

They go through phases and occationally stay burrowed for extended periods, but be on the look out for weight loss and drasgic skin discoloration. Check on the frog regularly. Instead of bathing outside the frog's enclosure provide a water dish and bathe the frog in its enclosure where it feels more secure.
