Vivarium of the Month Contest for October

I know that we won't be doing any more viv contests for the rest of the year since we can't ship prizes. But I won't be able to get my viv done for a bit. I was wondering if we could have different prizes for the contest, like decorations or supplies for the next couple months until plans can be shipped. I'm sure other members on here think that it would be a good idea

Well, keep in mind that the staff is donating the prizes. We don't have a budget for the contest. If we start getting into shipping other items, it could run into serious coin. Since none of us are independently wealthy, that may not be possible

That is true, but just an idea. Worst case we could maybe do a holiday themed viv contest for fun this winter? Again just ideas

I think there would still be plenty of entries without prizes. If some members have some supplies to give away (for exemple, I have extra hygrolon I won't be using) they could offer to give it as a prize. But again, it's fun anyway, and a good inspiration for everyone!

I like the idea of a collective prize, in which several people offer left over goodies, and have them approved by a mod, and then whoever wins would be sent a "care package" of prizes. The only issue with that would be volunteers and shipping prices.

Why thank you! If it was a technical build, I would gladly take the Dq but as it is, there's nothing fancy there. Anyone can build a tank like that

And for the record, IF, I win, and that's a big if (there are some gorgeous tanks in this month's contest), I will be donating the prize to a member of the forum.
