I hope my little frog hangs in there today. He was barely moving today. I told him to hang in there a little while longer, that I would be home with his medicine this evening. It was so hard to leave him to go to work.

Well the medicine won't be here until the morning. So just need to get him through this evening. My fiance was able to check in on him during a break from work and said that he was okay. That he was still breathing and stuff. So that's good. I seriously thought he was a goner the way he was acting this morning. I usually don't get my hopes up to much, but I have high hopes that we will see him through this. Before I just liked frogs, but never thought about owning one. Now I love frogs! Especially my little Smillie. I think the honey and pedialyte baths are really helping to get him through until the meds arrive. He purks up when he is in them. And the Reptaboost is helping since he still isn't eating. Although, the one cricket we put in there last night, wasn't there this morning. So he could have maybe eaten it? We don't know for sure.

keep your hopes high. even though they start out tiny, they are tougher than you can imagine. i had a very small juvenile white's escape, only to find him 2 months later. he was very small and thin, but alive. after a LOT of TLC, he is one of my favorite white's. how he survived 2 months out of the tank, i have no idea, but i gained a new found respect for them after that.

your little one will pull through. if you don't give up, neither will he

Amazing how fast the little guys can attach themselves to your heart. Glad to hear that he doing ok. Well keep up what you are doing and keep a close eye on what Heather and Lynn say, those two are top notch! And most of all keep us all updated.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that little Smillie has passed away. I will miss him. He gave me much joy in the short time that we had him. He passed away while I was at work, and my fiance didn't have the heart to tell me until I got home because he didn't want to disrupt my work. Apparently he had already died when my fiance came home to check on him during his break. RIP Smillie. We will always and forever love you.

I am terribly sorry. RIP Smillie.
You did the best you could and I'm certain that Smillie was very thankful that you tried. He is in a better place now.
