I tried looking them up and found nothing so here goes. Are vanilla orchids ok in a tree frog terrarium? Can they hurt my frogs somehow? I want to get some tree frogs, either red eyes or greens.
Thanks.
I would say that they are safe. I Google searched it and they are being sold for frog vivs. So I would say go for it.~Michael
They are safe. They grow as a huge vine.

A majority of plants we use in vivariums are toxic, if ingested. It is a plant's only defense mechanism. Luckily for us, frogs don't eat the plants. There's debate as to whether or not crickets eating said plants and then the frogs eating them is toxic, but there is not 100% proof on that. Hope that clears things up a bit.

Yes it does Bill! Thank you very much. Even tho plastic plants are easy and no-care, Id rather have real. There is satisfaction in growing live plants.
I see great plants on Ebay and my stores, and now I know which are good for my froggies.
Vanilla orchids are fine just make sure your feeders won't get to them as they will eat the pods. The only orchids you should watch out for are paphiopedillums/cypripedias and those wild, mountain, Asian orchids with white flowers (sorry forgot their name lol)
