EDIT: Thanks everyone, the frog has been identified.
My boyfriend found this frog in his backyard. I'm pretty sure he is a tree frog, but I'm not certain.
Here is what he looks like today:
Here is what he looked like the day he was found:
He was so bright green and he thought it was a tropical tree frog and brought it in.
Here is what he looked like the day after he was found:
Here are some more pictures of him taken in the last 24 hours.
I'm pretty fanatical about the care of animals in my home, and it would be easier to make sure he's getting the best care if I knew what kind of frog he is. I can get better pictures if needed, but he's very nocturnal and it's hard to get him in decent light. He hides during the day.

its a beautiful grey tree frog
Its a grey tree frog common to PA =P
Thanks guys! I just came to post here as I found the the care-sheet on the gray tree frog. I'd been searching online for quite a while before posting. Figures I'd find it just as soon as I post about it.
What a beautfiul frog! You sure you want to keep him though? Plucking him from the wild might not be good for it. Your better off putting him back in his real home and buying from a store or breeder.
My 15 year old White's Tree Frog Hetfield (RIP 1996-June 4, 2012) and my little girl Lucy
As everyone has said before it's a Grey Tree Frog! They are a wonderful hardy species. I've had two that I plucked from my own backyard and they have adjusted well to captivity. I've had them for a bit over a year now. I think they have a much better life in my care, honestly.
I'll pass on the compliments to the froggie.
The gut reaction was that it was not a native frog and he was released by someone who didn't know better. I wasn't there, but looking at the pictures I would have thought that maybe it was a dumpy. I live in a fairly urban area. I've never even seen or heard a frog around my house. My boyfriend lives in a more suburban area, but I don't know if he's ever seen frogs normally around him. I still think someone captured it in one place and released it near where it was found.
He's away for a week and we'll decide what to do when he returns. In the meantime I'll enjoy his/her (I'm thinking female due to size) company.

Heres a website with frogs and toads common to PA, incase you run into any more lol =P
Not only is the appearance beautiful, but the fact that it knows how to change its color at the appropriate times is quite interesting.
It's definatly a grey tree frog and very very pretty! It looks like a girl though!
