    Default Mite question??

Are these the mites everyone here talks about or are these "beneficial" too because they eat spider mites?

Phytoseiulus longpipes (the one on the right, Spidermite on Left)

I'm not familiar with the species, but free living mites are no parasitic. I wouldn't worry about them unless you've got an overload in your fruit fly cultures.

Thanks for the reply John, but i was referring to the mites in the tanks. Can any one post a pic on the mites they have had or have in their tanks?

    Thank you,

    Eli
