    Default Spring water

It's okay to use bottled spring water for the water section of a fire belly toad setup, right?

Bottled water is not always a good choice. Spring water may not have the proper salts and chemical makeup of tapwater and besides it can become expensive over time. Unless your tapwater is really bad, I would use it as long as it is conditioned. Stress-Coat (1 ml/gallon strength) with regular tapwater is a good choice. I have not had any problems with my frogs.

I condition my tap water with water conditioner that you can get at Petco for about $5 (a bottle) which is way cheaper then bottled water. But you can use it in a pinch.

How is just tap water stored for a week? My tap water is neutral PH. Not too hard or soft. Do i still have to use water conditioner after a week? So far i have no issues.

The issue w/ tap water is that most municipal water is treated w/ chloramines which are no good when combined w/ the permeability of amphibian skin. I'm not 100% but I don't think outgassing alone removes the chloramines--the water has to be treated.
