My young Pyxi is in over all good heath. I keep the tank clean humid the right temp. It eats normal and everything appears to be going fine. Other than when today i was looking at it and noticed his eyes seem to be very slightly cloudy. They are wide open and alert but they have somewhat of a merky look. But then again so does his overall coloration compared to normal. I was thinking he is abt to shed, but do they shed eyecaps like snakes? Or should I be nervous that there is some health issue looming? Thanks for reading this froggers.
Bobby is this the other one from the pair you had? An do you keep it in the same inclosure as the one that past? or in close range of the area? did you change anything recently or ata the normal? i have no idea what it might be an deff curiouse to know what it is.
Im going to bet on a shedding though . fingers x for ya, keep us posted.
This is usually due to bacteria on the eye. In my experience it's often caused by unsanitary conditions. If this is the case, it might be sufficient to clean the tank much more frequently. If it's not the case, you need to get antibiotic eye drops from the vet.
