Hey guys, just decided to take some pics right now to get this out of the way. He thought I was going to feed him right now haha, he looked up at me. Later tonight bud. On another note, he's probably like 2.5-3 svl range.

There are differences between the sexes in regards to the color of their underbellies. Males usually have a yellow or orange belly and throat, while females are more creamy beige underneath. Juveniles may have dorsal stripes down their backs and females are more likely to keep this stripe into adulthood rather than males.
Males can grow up to about 20-25cm (8-10 inches), while females are smaller and can reach about 11- 15cm (4-6 inches).
The easiest way to determine the sex of your African Bull Frog is by listening, as males will call during the mating season. They will also develop broader heads than the female, have yellow or orange chests and grow to a larger size.
Looking at the head i would say male
Any other comments from other people on sexing this bully? I just came back from a 3 day camping trip while my mom was taking care of him and his head seems so much bigger from the last time I saw him. I'll update more pics tomorrow.
100% male
Yeah I know the differences, but thanks for enlightening me. Usually people who differentiate males from females go from the head structure and age to svl ratio rather than the colors of their underbellies. I'll be sure to listen during the 'rainy' seasons for my bullfrog to call. If this frog turns out to be a female it will be a hard decision whether or not to keep her, but this frog has taught me a lot about raising them from juveniles and I've only had it for a week + a couple days haha. Also, I've heard from people that females attitudes and personalities are better than some males, but I'm looking for massive size which leads me to want a male instead of a female.
