    Default New substrate in Pyxie tanks....

    After everyone's great advice, I got rid of the jungle bark and swtiched to 3-4" of organic soil and coconut fiber combo. I've inlcuded some pics. Basic set-up, I know. Any further suggestions would be great, but I've already noticed my frogs liking the texture of the soil better. Thanks everyone!!

    Kinda looks like there are some kind of wood chip in there if there are i would recommend changing it again, sorry i know it's new.

    That was in with the coconut fiber brick. Please don't tell me I have to get rid of it again.....maybe I will just pick it out with my feeding tweezers. Another ugh moment!!

    Hmm I don't know for sure. How big are the chips? Are they sharp? Are they hard or soft?

    But if it is not too much trouble i would remove it to be on the safe side.

    I have seen many types of frogs. check this photo and let me know what type of this frog. I see this in Malaysia.
