I finally took the leap (pun intended) and had to get this little guy. The red is slightly washed out in the photos. He's a gorgeous little guy. Having seen the original Star Wars series and being a fan, I will, of course, have to name him Jabba. I know of no more suitable name in my case. I once built a life size replica of Jabba the Hut out of sand at the beach, complete with spray paint and all, back in the early 80s. It even made the local news.

Thanks for all the kind comments. I know dart frogs pretty well, but this is entirely new territory for me. He's a bit bigger than most of the froglets that were for sale (about the size of a silver dollar). I wanted to make sure that I got one that was a littler bigger and feeding, plus he was the best looking pacman at the show. I have a lot of reading to do. I've managed to get him to eat two superworms in the past four days, but I have to get him aggravated enough to open his mouth and then stuff it in. In both cases he swallowed it, but so far he has not shown any interest in worms or crickets on his own. I hope it's just a matter of settling in. I know it can't be good for him to associate food with getting harassed and ticked off!
