I think the adult is a green frog, but I was curious about the froglets/toadlets. The pool was primarily full of American toad tadpoles with just a few Gray Tree Frog tadpoles. However, near the end there were some huge tadpoles that resembled toads with different coloring in addition to the size difference. These guys look different than the toadlets we raised.
The little guys definitely look like American Toad toadlets . However, they could be a subspecies of the American Toad, which might help explain why the tadpoles were different in size and color.

Thanks guys, that's what I thought, but wasn't positive. Finding the green frog in an urban area was quite a surprise, and this is the first year we've heard grays calling.
