Here is Yoshi, my new pacman. I havnt had an albino in years. Perhaps im too picky abt the colors, because if I cant find rich yellow than I shy away from getting them. He fit the bill nicely. I actually hope it ends up female so it gets big. Either way I just wanted to share the new member with all of you.

Bobby what is Amelanistic ? Does it have to do with the color. BTW nice looking albino pacman. I see some apricot on him.

Amelanistic means ''lacking black skin pigment'' so the darkest areas are white and orange-yellow in color. So in the reptile and amphibian hobby, Amelanstic is called "albino" and true albino (snow white and pink) is called ''snow". So technically the "albino pacmans" you see are not true albino. Very close to albino but not quite. The are one genome away from true albino. I added a pic of a basically what true albino looks like. BUT this is not because it has normal eyes. This is tech. Leucistic. But a true albino looks like this w red eyes. this pacman pic is from Japan Reptiles (thanks Yusuki) this frog cost over 5 thousand dollars.

The blues dont stay sky blue tho. However they turn an awesome sea foam green with a pale yellow-white belly and even their spots are dark green. BAD *** looking. Finally NO BROWN!! I was supposed to get 2 blue ones in june............. all i heard were crickets on my email...... soo ya.
