When do I need to add an filter to my tank for my mini frogs?

I would buy the HBH frog and tadpole bites asap

bloodworms are ok in a pinch (each froglet should only eat 2-3 at most per feeding) - but you can get "spoiled" froglets and have difficulty switching them. I raise my batches primarily on HBH frog and tadpoles bites with frozen bloodworms used as treats of if I have a VERY small frog morph and I just need the bloodworms to fatten it up so it can eat the pellets.
A gentle filter is okay now - they sell cheap ones that are designed for small fish and fry (baby fish) that work off of a small aerator that would be perfect for you. You can also use ones with thin in-take valves (Whispers come to mind) and cover it with a sponge (cut a hole in the sponge and wedge the uptake in it so that all parts of the intake are surrounded) to prevent the little frogs from getting stuck.

Thanks for the info again. Just a few minutes after i read your reply. I tried feeding my froglets some blood worms. And it worked!!!!!!!!
I was so excited and relieved that they both decided to eat. And boy did they. How often should I feed them? As soon as I get a good
video of them eating the bloodworms. I will be sure to post it okay.
I'm not worring about spoiling them on blood worms. When winter came along and I couldn't buy anymore worms from the stores or
baite shops. I decided to have my own worm farm.
How I came up with idea was...My 4 year old son was looking through our seed books for our garden. And all the sudden...he said...
hey mommy look there are worms in this book.
I looked at the page and sure enough there they were worms. I bought 2000 adult worms with eggs and newbies for only 40.00 dollars.
I have had my farm for two years now and still have more than enough to feed my fish, acf's, and keeping everyone supplied with enough
worms for fishing for two summer's now.
So, everything will be just fine for food for them all. I only use red worms in my tanks. They keep them from clouding up or becoming
full of left over pellets.
