Where can i get a Red Eyed Tree Frog?

Does anyone know where i can buy a red eyed tree frog in the uk? i have looked everywhere but cant find any for sale. I would prefer a pair.

The entire genus Agalychnis was recently added to CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of fauna and flora). This has meant a drastic reduction in the numbers of wild caught red eyes making it to Europe. This is a good thing but it also highlights just how few in number the captive breeders are. I actually don't know of a red eye breeder in the whole of the UK. Hopefully someone will be able to help you.

I can't help you alot, but you should look into importing from Germany. They have some well reputated breeders of red eyes. Just make sure you get CITES license and everything you need to do it legally. Don't know which department in the US that handle this, but it's probably easy to find out.

The threadmaker is from the UK and Josh do not ship internationally, very few people do, hence the question about getting some in UK.
