Cool! Another dart frogger. You must be veeeeerrrry careful (said with an Elmer Fudd lisp). Dart frogging is an extremely contagious condition. You pick up a couple of frogs and then one day you wake up to the sound of a rain forest chorus and an empty wallet and think "What happened"!

I don't know how familiar you are with dart frogs, so forgive me if you know this already, but cobalts and azureus are two of many unique populations (morphs) of the species Dendrobates tinctorius from Surinam and other parts of northern South America. Dart Froggers are pretty careful not to breed different morphs with each other to avoid having a bunch of "muts", so it is best to keep tinc morphs separated. In addition, some morphs represent very small and endangered populations and it is important to a lot of folks to maintain the genetic signature of the wild population as best as we can.

Also, tinc females are very territorial and in most (not all) cases will intimidate one another, fight, eat one another's eggs, etc. The submissive female often dies from stress even when there is no obvious sign of aggression. They are best kept in pairs. I keep mine in 20 to 29 gal vivariums made from standard aquariums. It sounds like you are far more handy than me and could build a fantastic vivarium.

Anyway, sorry again if you already know this stuff and welcome to the Forum.
