Great to see a video that demonstrates this so clearly. Pictures never do this process justice.

See now you know why I haven't posted them until now. I've tried several different ways this is all I could do. I had a hard enough time just getting the video off my phone and into a file type my computer would recognize. Where's MeTree...doesn't he usually make those little video productions?
Cheri the videos are very clear . They're very hobbyist friendly. I am now educated and hungry for some reason lol. It looks like you're making a chocolate cake. Just kidding. As a matter of fact we need more how to videos. From A to Z on vivs. This part would be B cause you all ready did the foam.
Cheri , Fantastic job!!! I have 1 suggestion/question... if you were to paint the back and sides out a bit with the black silicone before spraying in the great stuff you could have the black sides instead of the yellow nasty great stuff to look at on the back corners... Might be something to try next time.. Ive never done one the way you did it just yet but most likely will in the near future,... Anyways very informative and a great how to!! You go!!
Yes I use to do that when I could see my tanks from the side, but now that they are in a rack in my Frog Closet I really can't see the sides. But when I do the video on the GS I will make sure to include that suggestion. I also normally use the Black pond expanding foam but I thought it would be easier to see on the video with the yellow.
True I didn't think about the black foam.... would have been a 2 bird situation... only thing is hard to make sure of silicone coverage haha always something huh!!
very nice, this is my next step black silicone and coco fiber
