    Being invasive, there are plenty of web pages devoted to identifying Cubans in Florida so people don't go around knocking off native species. Like this one:

    Florida Wildlife Extension at UF/IFAS

    the 'skin fused to the skull' I found interesting and could rule out it being a Cuban or add some confidence to the ID (I don't know what frogs share this trait, but presumably no Florida native tree frogs or it's a lousy test). I've only ever seen one in person and I'm not familiar with Floridas native frogs, so hope this is some help.

    dit- note it also mentions a size of up to 5"

    I think its a Cuban tree frog blending in its surroundings.

    I think John's right about it being a Cuban Tree frog. Although it closely resembles a Gray Tree frog.

    Yeah, there is a similarity but there's no gray's down here.

    I agree on the Cuban ID. It does have unusual markings, tho.
