I live in South Florida and I've done some research online and couldn't come up with what type of frog this is? It lives in a crevice in a palm tree in my front yard and it comes and goes as it pleases for the last month or so. Basically I was just curious as to what species this is and if anyone here knew what is was.

Probably another Cuban Treefrog.

I agree it's unusual looking, but I think it's a Cuban. There really isn't a bigger tree frog in Florida. Perhaps thhe others you've seen are males? Who knows, I could always be wrong.

Being invasive, there are plenty of web pages devoted to identifying Cubans in Florida so people don't go around knocking off native species. Like this one:
Florida Wildlife Extension at UF/IFAS
the 'skin fused to the skull' I found interesting and could rule out it being a Cuban or add some confidence to the ID (I don't know what frogs share this trait, but presumably no Florida native tree frogs or it's a lousy test). I've only ever seen one in person and I'm not familiar with Floridas native frogs, so hope this is some help.
edit- note it also mentions a size of up to 5"
I think its a Cuban tree frog blending in its surroundings.
I think John's right about it being a Cuban Tree frog. Although it closely resembles a Gray Tree frog.
