i have do my research and gone to the pet store and all the vivs are £100-£80 "online breeders" i dont know any near me do u any one with tree frogs in the uk
Do you have craigslist over by you mabe you can look around at pet stores if they have used old tanks that need a little cleaning cheap and try to get tall ones if you doing treefrogs ,if you doing pacman frogs plastic shoe boxes will work and drill little holes for vents and add a water dish and cocofiber and you done
I am not from the UK but do you guys have something like craigslist that you can get a use vivarium for cheap.
no over here they probably wouldnt sell used ones unless from ebay i would get a used one from a store but probably heath repulations come in to it so maybe they might not be able to rules rules and more rules lol . i not no were to get pac man frogs from the only one is tree frogs
Other than ebay we also have 'gumtree' which is kind of like craiglist where people put ad's up and 'preloved'. Look in local newspapers or shop adverts and see what people are selling. Some pet shops will have ex display items they are getting rid of for a reduced price, it would not hurt to ask. If you scrub them out with bleach, then vinegar and then water and air dry they will be clean.
Also look for 'terrariums' as much as you are searching for vivariums, vivs are usually more expensive and made of wood. You i dont think you are going to be able to buy just the tank/viv/terrarium and frog for £50 in one go, you also need decor, substrate, heating. And i am good at getting things on the cheap.
I think your est idea is to make a plan, if you have pocket money/allowance or are working at all, save a bit away and say "ok this month i will use £20 to buy my tank decor" and build it up like that. This way you will not rush yourself and you may be able to convince your mum that you could spend some more.
Have you read the care sheet on the forum for whites? It may give you some ideas of what you will needFrog Forum - White's Tree Frog Care - Litoria caerulea

I like the 30x30x45. Its a nice home for a whites tree frog if you want more whites tree frogs down the road, which you will. Because i know you don't have to buy any more tanks for now. That size should keep you busy for a while . I also like the Douglas fir bark for substrate. It's also nice to put some driftwood in the tank ,so they rest on . I also put a nice size water bowl for them to relax. Make shore its not too deep ,so they don't drown. Good luck with your project. Btw check out the care sheets on this site. LOL
