Welcome to the forum Madfrog. Australian Green Tree Frogs, or as most of us in the rest of the world call them, White's Tree Frogs, are very popular and I think you'll find a lot of information here.

Welcome aboard.
I once had an argument with an Australian herpetologist about the common name for Litoria caerulea. In an e-mail to him, I called the species White's treefrog. He was quick to correct me, telling me the correct name was the green treefrog. I had known that it is called this in Australia form quite some time now. So I explained to him that outside Australia the species is either known as a dumpy treefrog or, more commonly, White's treefrog. I explained that it was named after the English surgeon who first described it in 1790. He backed down at that point. Only in Australia is this species known the green treefrog, everywhere else, like John said, it called the White's treefrog.
The caresheet on left side of the website is very helpful. It helped me a lot when i got my first white's.
The petco that i bought him for called him a Australian green treefrog.
Wow, I have never seen anyone outside of Australia use that name,
Hmm they are on Kingsnake once in a while under that name.
Really? I never noticed that.
The pet stores have a lot of variations they put on their tags...
Petco: Dumper was an "Australian White's Tree Frog" and under his tank were "Indonesian White's Tree Frog"
Petsmart: Scooter was listed as a "CB Blue Dumpy Tree Frog" and next to his tank was the standard "White's Tree Frog"
Yeah pet stores do have weird names for things like one near me has a lizard that they call a Neon tree dragon. I have not been able to find anything on him under that name though. Is scooter still really blue?
Try search with the name Japalura for your dragon.
Aus White's are supossed to be smaller in stature and captive bred.
Indo's are all wild caught and are supposedly bigger then their Australian brethren.
