Default Too deep of water for my baby RETF coming on Thursday?

I purchased a friend for my other frog today. He/she should come on Thursday so I want to be sure everything is right. If I need to adjust anything I'd like to do so as soon as possible. Any ideas?

My tank is a 29 gallon. It has the reptile waterfall and filter. There is also a fine bubbler in the back water of the tank for aeration. Tap water is dechlorinated, of course. Daytime temp is about 76 degrees with the UV light on. It is a Repti Glo 5.0 24" top light, new. I have a Heat Glo 50 watt infared lamp light in case the tank cools down but have not needed to use it. Nighttime temp is about 72 degrees. The tank has an open wired mesh lid. Most of my plants are artificial, but there are three small pond plants in the bottom. Although my betta keeps eating them. The water in the tank is approximately 2 1/2 inches tall. There are 3 larger rocks and the plants to climb out on. There are branches and plants along the sides and back of the tank at different climbing levels. The left side of the tank has a land area with reptile carpet and a water dish. And humidity ranges from 70-80%. I mist the tank twice a day. I purchase 1/4 to 1/2 inch crickets mostly and dust them with calcium/D3 powder.

Is there anything I'm missing or need to change? Should I decrease the "pond" water level?

My current female RETF has been very easy to care for and seems content and healthy. Eats, pees, poops, sleeps and wakes normally.

I'm a bit nervous about a baby one. I purchased her from Josh's frogs. She is estimated to be about 1 1/2". Much small than mine.

You don't need the UV light but other than that I have nothing to add . Nice terrarium!

    Thanks!

Do you think the water is too deep? Just being cautious.

The only thing I would do is adding more plant/vines/branches to use more space. Almost everything is as the sides, and alot of empty space in the middle of the tank. They are tree frogs and very arboreal in nature. In most pictures you've posted of the frog, he's sitting on the ground or rock, not on a vine or something a little more tree frogy. However, if the frog is healthy and John himself said it's a good tank, it probably is very good already

As long as they have plenty of escape routes out of the water they should be fine....but they wont be able to use water that deep.

    Thanks!

She does cling onto the plants and sides a lot, but she is usually sleeping and just looks like a leaf then so I don't bother her too much or take pictures then.

I can add more plants by the water too.

I think rather than lower the water I might add more blue rocks to shallow it. That way the waterfall will run well. It needs enough water to pull in and circulate. It should work, I think.

    Thanks again!

I have been playing around with my tank. I think this will be safer for my new baby to come.

I have also set up my 10 gal for her until I know she is healthy enough to join Stickers.

At what age will I be able to tell her sex?

I am purchasing him/her from joshsfrogs. He says it's too early to tell yet and that they are about 1 1/2 inches currently.

    Stickers is approx. 3 inches.
