Default Leaping leopards I am new!

My ten year old son and I raised three little leopard frogs from tiny froglets. We got them from our backyard pond. They are calmer then most people seem to think and they even come out of hiding for meal time.
The charming little buggers have nearly tripled their size over the summer we have kept them. I am wondering how well they over winter as they hibernate. And what special care a hibernating frog needs. Here in upstate Ny it starts getting cold at night in september.

You don't have to over winter them when young. If you can feed them through winter they should reach adulthood in the second year and then you could hibernate them that winter. There's info on hibernating gray tree frogs in their care article on here. It should apply equally well to your leopards.
