thanks everyone for the nice comments^^
I have a question for all you pacman, even ornate pacman, owners out there. Jr has turned from bright green and red to a darker brown, he only has a green stripe down his butt >< Did I do something wrong? His color isn't health related is it? I've heard a few views on it, but I'd like to know for myself from owners. I can post some updated pictures too. He's now 3/4oz; he's gained a 1/4oz since my last update^^

Grif started out lite brown with lite green and as he got older he turned green then to a much darker brown and green with bright green stripes. They do change color as they age and with their environment. The food they eat including vitamins also affect their color. Also mood changes too affect their color. If he's eating well then he's probably perfectly healthy and just going through changes as he grows.

awesome, thanks. I think he's a bit stressed out; he hates when I lift the tank lid or when I mess with the other tank. I guess he can feel the noise more than hear it. I still haven't seen any poop...With the amount he's eating, I thought I would by now. I put him in his water dish which I filled with luke-warm water and he sat there for maybe 20min. I saw him with a rock next to his jaws this morning and it worried me. I didn't think I had any stones in there, but I guess I ended up with some tinyish ones and some little bigger, but still eatable size ones. I'm going to go through his tank and pick them out as I see them. I think I might put more soil in too, he's digging down to the glass, but not burying himself, just making very wide circles and sitting in the middle. I only gave him 2 crickets for his meal tonight, I feel like I'm giving him too much food, so I've cut it back some. He wasn't super hungry tonight and took a few times for a cricket to crawl over his mouth before he reacted.

They go up to week sometimes without pooping. I think the temp has a lot to do with it since the heat helps them digest and metabolize their food. How long has it been?

it's been a week, on sat, since I got him. I might soak him after I go through his tank a bit to remove rocks. He's peeing just fine >< Last time I picked him up, I thought I felt a hard spot in his belly, but I could have just felt his bones

Grif has never pooped like the pet stores say. He's gone alil over a week before pooping. Try and get his temp up to 80 or 82. The humidity being in the 70s is fine. Definetly soak him in some luke warm water. A hard spot in their belly doesn't always mean impaction. Grif gets them when he's near time to poop. You can very gently massage the lump with your finger, but very carefully as they are fragile in those areas. I usuallymassage Grif's in a little circle. I hope he goes soon.

I took the pic of his temp in the morning, it goes to about 82 during the day. It rises and falls like it would in the wild.

sorry everyone, I've been having problems with youtube. I'll try to get the video fixed soon.

Wow, I haven't been on in a while. Finals are coming up for me on monday. Jr is already twice his baby weight^^ I'm so proud, but I think I may need to start calling him a her...I really wanted a male, but I think I got a female. His color has darkened and his throat his lightened. I'm going to call him a boy for now, but I don't see any nuptual pads on the front feet. Is it too early for that yet?
Right after I asked about the pooping thing I went to his cage to get him to soak and there was 3 huge turds in all his burrows. He eats plenty of crickets and I've even gotten some of my crickets to breed!!! I can't wait til they hatch and I'll have endless tiny pinheads for #2. Jr won't even think about trying to eat the smaller crickets. He likes the ones that already have wing buds. I'll get some more photos up soon.
