I bought this adorable little mushroom "toad house" at menards one day. I couldn't pass it up considering the amount of toads in my yard. I check it every now and then to see if anyone is in there. Occasionally I might find a small one hanging out.
Now I had a giant one obviously get comfy in there!! It is half buried and has been in there for 3 days straight! There is everything it needs right in that spot though. An abundance of crickets, a fountain of water, shelter, even a small garden light that bugs gather around...seems to like it. Hard to tell from a picture, but this guy is a whopper, probably 4+ inches!

So, are you ready to have 4 of those in your house next year?![]()
LOL I'm ready to have toads that can eat something bigger than a fruit fly! That's for sure! Crazy to think that it wont be very long before they're that big.

Yeah, I'm going through a lot of flies myself! I tried tiny crickets with the big guys, but they ignored them. So we're stuck on flies for now. They are eating the tiny worm pieces though, so that helps to supplement a bit.
