Carefull not to over feed them...they will eat every cricket in the tank non stop....I had one that ate so much he exploded. Also they like cool temps.....dont leave them in direct sunlight or too hot......and I also have had them breed this way at about 8 months, in the wild they take over a year.

I try to put 10 or so crickets in there every night. There are 7 frogs, so I figure that's enough for them each to get one, and a couple extra for the hungrier guys. I get the smallest crickets I can find. And I shake a few fruit flies in every other day. I'm assuming after they are older I can go down to feeding every other day, right?

As far as temperatures go, their tank seems pretty stable at 71 degrees. We have air conditioning and that's about what we keep our house at. They are also away from any windows, skylights, or heat vents. They seem to all be doing really well.

I'm not really hoping to breed any. In fact, I'd rather not. I'm just mainly concerned about when we are going to get to the noisy phase of having these frogs, and how many of them are going to be making the noise. LOL!

Fed them very other night...they wont die dont worry..71 is about warm as you want it..they like 68.......around April/May you will be able to see who are the males....and breed they will you have no control over that.....and yes...the males are really really loud.

Thanks for the input. I guess I'll find out how annoying they are next spring. I'll just have to separate them once I know who is what so that I don't get any babies.

I would then just release the females and keep a couple of males, becousue they will mate eventually.
