    Question Phoenix worms

I am looking for an alternative to crickets as the bulk food item for my white's tree frogs. My roommates have discovered that they are literally terrified of crickets. I haven't been able to discern WHy exactly, but this is kind of a problem due to the fact of how much my little guys love divebombinb those little suckers.

A viable option to replace crickets would be phoenix worms. i have read that they are very high in calcium and that they have MUCH lower chitin amounts than meal worms do. They are also much more expensive. Has anyone had any luck feeding phoenix worms to their animals? Answers from amphibian owners would be especially helpful. Thank you!

I have used them in the past. Had mixed results, some of the frogs threw them up.

Think waxworms with higher calcium content. I experimented with them a few months back. I am of the opinion they are not worth the money.

I've used them and liked them. They are expensive and unless you plan on having someone ship them they are hard to find.
