    Default Albino Colour??

    Hey guys!

I decided to deal with a website out of Canada to get my pacman, and I'm getting an Albino Pacman shipped right to my door for 65.54 taxes in!!

My question is... what colour is an Albino Pac?? So far on google images they are anywhere from yellow to brown?

I would like to get a yellow one, do they stay the same colour from a baby to an adult (ie yellow at 1 month, yellow at 3 years old.)?

P.S. The guy I was getting the pacs of locally wanted 124.99 + tax for an Albino... the website wants 45.00$ Here's the link: Amphibians - Captive Herps - Canadian mail order reptiles | SmugMug

One last thing, is there any other differences between a normal pac and an albino besides the colour of the body and eyes, they look like they are smoother??

    Thanks!

They are usually a combination of yellow, orange and creamy white. They darken a bit with age but otherwise stay the same. There is no other difference between them and non-albinos.

    Thanks John,

I asked the guy if he could get me a really yellow one, and he said there would be no problem with that, so fingers crossed!

Hey guys, this may be a little off topic, but do fantasy frogs ( cranwelli x cornuta ) keep their colors well as they mature ?

The only difference is that you have to be very careful with heating. A light will blind an albino, but I've heard pretty good things about using blue bulbs with them. an UTH is dangerous, but I've read some people on here have had success using it on the side of the tank. No worries about heating if your place is warm though.
