They are captive bred but they wont sell me just the one,has to be a pair,is this ok?Arent they aggressive and one of the biggest frogs/toads???![]()
Sorry you never got a response to this. I think the reason is probably due to no one knowing the answer to the question. I'm not familiar with that species' habits either. Sorry to disappoint you Phoebe.

It could be that the shop wants to encourage breeding of these large frogs. They are considered vulnerable in their native range and I don't think there are many people engaged in captive breeding them. They certainly would be great alternatives to African bullfrogs and horned frogs.
