I'm leaning towards it being an unusually marked Ceratophrys cranwelli. Where did you buy it? The "normal" pet trade really only ever have C. cranwelli, C. ornata, C. cornuta, and Fantasy Frogs.

HMMMMMMMMM..... looks a lot like Ceratophrys joazeirensis to me..... cranwellis? That much green...? Def not a Samuri Blue. They start out verry blue, turn seafoam green and have a standard chacoan cranwellis pattern. But none the less that is a SWEET LOOKING FROG!
Here is my patternless cramwelli now,and before.
The less spots is what made me get this guy.I think they're all cranwelli's with less spots. In Asia they breed alot of different kinds of frogs . Pretty soon they'll be coming in different colors like what they do to fish.
Dude those are sick colors he has . I also love the food for them .where can i get some!!
Looks like ceratophrys cranwelli to me
hey im curious are they the same frog in both pictures? i currently have a "lipstick" horned frog but i am hoping it would turn out like the bottom frog!
Beautiful frog for sure. But NOTcaatinga. Vanishing pattern cranweli I say.
This frog is a Green Apple, which is a cross between a Cranwelli and a Caatinga(joaz). The bright green coloration is a result of the Caatinga genes.
