When I first got Willow, one of my female gray tree frogs, her skin was very dry, and she clearly had some retained shed.

With high humidity, lots of misting, and soaks, I managed to get it all cleared up.

Fast forward to today, 2.5 months later. Last night I noticed her eating her shed. Didn't think much of it, I'm always catching them shedding. Today I noticed she still had dirty shed hanging out of her mouth. It was also very tight around her throat and front legs.

I took a qtip and wet it down, and gently rubbed her with it (which she was VERY unhappy about) and I cleaned off A LOT of shed. I mean, so much that my fingers were covered in it.

What could be causing this? The rest of them don't have this issue and she seemed perfectly fine up until last night again. Did I do the right thing by coaxing it off with the qtip? What can I do to help her with this?

Humidity has been around 70%, temps between 65 and 75. She eats, soaks, hops around just like all the other tree frogs.
