I do have to say that although Malcolm is gone...... he did inspire this: http://www.frogforum.net/care-sheet-...ubmission.html
Which will help so many others in being on the right track to caring for tier Pacman. Thanks for this Stanton.

I am so happy I can help! I will tell you right now, I will never regret owning a Pacman Frog for one minute, even after Malcolm's unfortunately young end. As I reflect back over the past few months, I see all the new things that I have to thank Malcolm for. My sister's Leopard Gecko she got after she saw that keeping animals that don't require 100% humidity (fish LOL) isn't impossible, I have several bug cultures, it got me back on Frog Forum, I wrote this article which I am very excited about (I always love helping people with their Pacman Frogs!), and I have a 30g Poison Dart Frog tank that I wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise, along with many memories and hundreds of pictures.
I am so glad that I got Malcolm. I wouldn't be here (on Frog Forum) without him. Thanks guys for all your support!

Stanton i am sorry you lost Malcom, Honestly i dont know what you could have done wrong. I think the best quote for this is "The brightest Stars shine half as long" Malcom has obviously inspired you and in return you gave him all the care a little Pac could want - i think you gained a lot from one another. You on your part may have done nothing wrong, it may have just been his time to go. Sometimes it's best not to speculate, it will only make losing him harder for you.
RIP Malcom
It always feels bad when a pet dies, but even more so when they are young. Just doesn't seem fair. I lost a toadlet a couple of weeks ago, and it sucked. I know how it feels, and I'm sorry for your loss.
I'm so sorry for your loss! I recently had one of my pacs die unexpectedly and without explanation. I know how you feel but it is possible that it wasn't anything that you could have prevented. Don't beat yourself up over it.

So sorry for your loss Stanton...it's never easy, but you have to remember it happens to everyone. Don't let it get to you too much, at least you got some love out of the time you had him. I'm sure he had a happy life with you.![]()
