Too bad, but sounds like it was falling behind the curve for a while. Perhaps there was some fundamental problem with him that did him in in the end. Bob Marley was tragically taken from us too soon, as a human, and now as a toad.

Amy I'm so sorry about your loss.. It's not your fault. Nature made it that way so the others will be strong and make it. That's part of life. ..In the wild I don't think he would of made it either ...The week die so the strong survive..

I am very sorry to hear that too. In every group, there is at least one or two that fail to thrive or just die for no apparent reason. Usually this is ascribed to genetic factors or nutritional issues during the tadpole phase. Doesn't make the loss any easier, though! Every so often, though, there are runts who do make it and that's why we keep on trying with these little guys... Keep up the good work - I (for one) think you are doing a great job with your toads!
