I had some medium-large pieces of lettuce in my viv for the crickets and my White's lunged at a cricket and caught the lettuce in with the kill - it was about 1.5" square in size (maybe a tad bigger). It had been in there during the day for the 2-3 crickets not eaten last night. I thought that this would be large enough that he'd spit it out but he didn't! He kept trying to swallow it.

I tried to pull it out in the beginning but he pulled a bit more of it into his mouth. I held on to it, hoping he'd expel it but he didn't. He thrashed around and pushed at my fingers with his feet but didn't let go. His tummy seemed to balloon up a bit about 5 minutes afterward for about 5-7 minutes. He ate two crickets shortly after this and has been acting somewhat normal (?!).

Can he digest this? Will he expel it/throw it up? What can I do? We've been looking online and can't find anything about this!

We don't have a vet yet and tomorrow's Sunday.
