Aspen leaves
Hey all. I have a few aspen leaves as leaf litter in my new tank, and am going out to get more and dry them out. I'm using them because that's the only leafy tree here, and all I need to do is dry them out for a day after being picked off a tree (i'm not joking) and a few hours after I pop them in the tank, they turn brown. Which is a plus, so I don't have to dry them for months. I was wondering, has anyone else used these before? They seem ok once a bit dry. Thanks.
Edit: As I said the leaves are dry. Don't know if I also mentioned but the brown leaves get soft once put in. Here's pics.
In the photo you can see they're flexible.
