There are chemicals to remove lime/calcium, but if you use them rinse thoroughly, then rinse again.

A bleach and water solution is good for clean out a cage, it kills all kinds of pathogens, including Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis. Just remember to rinse thoroughly after cleaning. While rinsing I often use a dechlorinator in the mix.

Cleaning with warm water is safe to frogs, but unaffective in killing germs. Vinegar is a little better but not by much.
