10 gallon terrarium for red eyed tree frog

i need help deciding how to set up my terrarium. i want a water feature of some kind. but im not sure what. also i am building the stuctures from great stuff foam. does it go well with water or should i get and different foam for the bottom. please post some ideas and some pics.

Just a couple of thoughts. I think that terrarium size is pushing the minimum limit for a red-eyed tree frog. Water feature wise, unless it's a pond, I advise you to avoid it. Getting a pump to work reliably in a terrarium like that is a challenge (but doable).

Great Stuff is polyurethane foam. Once it has cured it's inert in water, so very suitable. In fact, Tetra markets a black version of great stuff for use in ponds and water falls here in the US. It's the exact same thing with a different color.

thanks so much john. i only thought of a 10 gallon because of stands. but size has no limit because i set a frog budget of 4,000 Canadian dollars. also would red eyed tree frogs, white tree frogs, and green tree frogs live together well.

No, only one species per tank. Their toxins will slowly poison each other. Not to mention size difference and aggressiveness of the breeds.

I would also go bigger than a 10 gallon. You want to get lots of plants in there and still have space for the frog to move around.

You should not mix any frogs with a different species.
