Is he losing weight? Are you finding droppings?
Mine only eat 1 to three small crickets every other night. Only occasionally do I find they ate a bunch.

The Temp. in the tank is 71 degrees and i have only seen two droppings on the first two days and i know that he is wild caught.

This is just my opinion ...but the tank is still too sparse. Put a big leafy plant like a pothos and leave him alone. Mist him, put the crickets in and stop checking on him. Checking to see if he's eating every ten minutes is not good for the frog. You've only had him a week give him time.

Good point Cheri. They can go a good amount of time without eating. As long as they get to a water dish occasionally they can soak up a drink and back to hiding.
Quiet, peaceful, and dark could be all thats missing here.

Thank you, i put a cutting of my potho in his tank. I also put a cut in some water to root and i can grow that in his tank.

If you only had the little one a week give him some time to adjust. I think mine barely ate much the first few weeks and slowly started to trust me going near the tank. Slightest movement outside the tank and he was on the back wall trying to hide as hard as he could.

Okay, he is sticking to the wall with the heater attached. i just saw him soaking in his water bowl. He is not really lethargic at all, he is very active at night. How can i raise the temp with out the light at night all i have is the heating pad on the side of the tank.

Then u should be fine... just relax and if hes active and visiting the water.. .... hes doing fine.

I think wild caught is going to be the biggest issue here.

I would raise temp up to about 78 degrees by using a heat pad on the side of the tank if you have one, or with a light during the day.
Cover much of the top (50 percent of it) to retain humidity and mist at least twice a day.
Where is the frog sleeping?

Mine usually poops where it sleeps in the snake plants. Sometimes in the water dish but not often.
Is the soil in the tank dry or semi wet? It should seem damp.

Frogs generally wont eat dead or non moveing prey. If the crickets arent moveing around even mine wont touch them.

I would have never even thought to ask that! Good question though!

Also make sure the crickets are small enough for him to munch down.

As a general rule, the crickets shouldnt be longer than the space between the eyes. Some aggressive frogs will still try to take down a bigger cricket than they should (and possibly choke and die) but that isn't something you would want happening. Less aggressive frogs will only go after a meal that is easy for them to take down.
