Bromeliad dying

I have several doing this. One I suspect was caused by too much water at the base and rotted. The one in the picture of the month I submitted that very leaf is dying back. And another in a 10 is also failing. Funny others in the very same tanks are doing just great. I'm not sure what the cause is. Maybe the were damaged before and are just now failing, too much water or I suspect maybe the dusting powder from the flies has landed on them and causing issues.

Mine is only about 2 weeks old, it was VERY wet when I got it though. It's kind of disappointing because they aren't cheap but now the frogs LOVE it. It's not in a spot that gets any dust on it either. I wonder if my big fat tree frogs are just too much for it.

Could be a number of things, but I would say either it's too humid or too cold for it. Broms don't live very long anyhow - maybe 2-3 years.

I have it in the best ventilated spot in the tank because I know they need fresh air moving through, temps stay around 75 inside the tank, is that too cool? If it is, then it just wont work because the frogs don't need it warmer than that LOL

It might be too humid in my tanks for them. I recently taped over most of the ventilations screen to raise the humidity.
