Pomona Super Show this Saturday

If anyone is interested there are some of us meeting up at the show this Saturday. It opens at 10am. We are going to arrive a little early and do a training seminar on doing a Great Stuff background in a small Exo Terra. If anyone is interested in attending just let us know. We would love for you to join us. It is located at the LA county fair grounds in Pomona California. We will be meeting on Saturday.

Be there or be square people! I'll be meeting with Cheri for the training session and then heading into the show. Hopefully I can find some goodies for my big tank and maybe some treats (roaches, earthworms, frog candy, etc.) for my babies.

Haha sorry I didn't see that last reply in time Cheri. John, you'll be happy to know we did not return without a video. It might take a bit of time to upload though because it's a pretty big file, bu Cheri's phone had some good quality and I think lots of people will benefit from the time and effort we put into making it! (Which was a total of like...ten minutes. XD But we had a lot of fun, saw a lot of frogs and other reptiles and cool animals, set ups, feeders, etc.

I walked away from the show with a nice peice of grape wood for my monster tank and some silkworms for my froggies, hope they like em!

We also grabbed a picture of me, Katie and Cheri all together at the show! We met up briefly so we could see each other in person and I caught a ride home from Cheri afterwards. All in all it was a great time and I'm really glad I went. Great first experience.

The video actually looks pretty good. I just need to get a cable to hook my phone to the computer to download it. I also purchased another tank (18 cube) that Im going to video the whole GS to silicone process in a more controlled setting. With this one we were under a tree in a parking lot. Probably not the best setting to use for a permanent sticky but it was a good practice run. I'll get the cable and have the video up tomorrow. If there's any information I missed during the presentation let me know because Im going to do the 18 cube next weekend. With that one I'll have a clean backdrop, a tripod, no background noise or other distractions. Plus I'll use an actual video camera instead of my cell phone.
