i see some people put there pacman frog in a tank with gravel and a littel water ,i like the look but is it safe for the forg ? my frog is still young and just eating crickets with calpro on them .what other suff should i be feeding it at this time ?
I know you say some people do it, but I would keep the frog away from gravel because he will likely swallow some of it, which could lead to a gut blockage. I used to keep Pacman frogs in shallow water but not with gravel. A good substrate is coconut fiber. The diet you describe is fine but make sure to gutload the crickets. This will mean that the frog gets a lot more nutrients than a standard cricket provides. I'm not talking about vitamin/mineral supplements, but protein, etc.

It's not the best idea and I'd stay away from it. Those guys eat everything that can fit in their mouths and the rocks or gravel won't digest.
thanks guys so its no gravel for me i will stay with the coco fiber!
