    Default My Spring Peeper Froglets

I thought I would share some pics, these guys are incredibly small and cute

The first pic is blurry but you get the idea of how bitty these are...

and then a gripe...I bought 2 boxes of 24 count small crickets (for my gray tree frogs, not the froglets lol) at petsmart last night...this is what I got!!

A whopping 13 live crickets I also bought a new 60 watt blue daylight bulb from there yesterday that didnt work! I'm heading back there today with that picture and my receipt!

Amy a frog that size is going to need either pinhead crickets or fruit flies. Fruit flies would be the easiest because you'd always have a replenishing source of small food.

Yes, I have a million fruit flies right now, like I said, the crickets were for the gray tree frogs (adults) not the peepers. I think the small crickets are the same size as the peepers right now LOL

I am loving these little guys. They've gotten much more comfy already and tend to hang out up in all the new plants. They are so cute <3

So cute! Reminds me of my cute little froggies that aren't so little anymore. LOL! What a bummer about the crickets. Argh.

Very nice! Looks like they have a nice terrarium too. For what it's worth, whenever I buy live food in person I always check it. Even if that means digging earthworms out of soil.

Thanks guys! Right now the terrarium is only a 10 gal, but I'll move them as they get bigger, right now they are so tiny that it doesn't matter yet. I tried to mimic their natural environment that I found them in as much as possible.

John, I shook them to make sure they weren't all dead, when only a few dead ones fell, I thought I was good to go! But that's all there was in there LOL I went back and they counted out 35 live crickets for me to have for free. From now on, they will be digging out live ones for me, and I wont be using the boxes they have sitting there.
