i forgot to post this a couple of weeks ago, but the pet store i go to specializes in fish not amphibians or reptiles so i'm not surprised they labeled the frog wrong i just wish they wouldn't misinform people. Turns out the frog i was given is an ACF, African clawed frog not a dwarf like they had labeled. Which is okay with me, he's still cute and i'm glad i moved him to his own tank because i've read a couple of horror stories involving ACFs and bettas but the pet store was like, "oh they will be fine together"
Sometimes the stores just don't know the difference. At least you did the right thing and gave it a nice home away from your Betta, good job!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
