black spot on frog? Advice?

Last night he was fine, this morning my one year old grey has a black spot in between his eyes. Can they bruise? He was eating and hopping around fine last night.
Any thoughts?

I just woke him up and the spot went away immediately. Phew. He's never done that before!

Hard to know what it is, but I'm going to guess it's a piece of skin from an incomplete shedding. Keep an eye on it for a few days and if it gets worse then let us know.

is it stll there, was it a shadow. It happens to my frog sometimes when the sleep they get dark and when they wake up they get exited and brighter, i wouldnt worry about it

He's back to his normal color. Apparently he just wanted his head camoflauged while he was sleeping! Weird froggie
