I want to do something different with the substrate, and add a plant or too.
The tank is a 20X high.
The wood is drift wood, no I didn't boil it.

Local wood? Local frog? If so than I would think it shouldn't be a problem. Also baking wood is better than trying to boil it.
That poor little guy needs a lot more cover in his tank.

Yes, I agree. Some foliage would be nice.
I am working on it, I was going to go live plants. I think I will get some fakes for now.
I have a fake hanging plant with many leaves in my young Grey Treefrogs' tank, and they love to hide amongst the leaves.
