    Default Help!

I think my albino African Clawed Frog is sick.

I have two of them; one is nice and healthy and the other is smaller and spotted. He seems healthy - he jumps around and plays with the other just fine.

I've looked online but cannot find any diseases or sicknesses that match whatever is wrong with my frog.

    Any suggestions?

The two attatched photos are my frogs (one is the obviously sick one and one is the healthy for comparison)

Welcome to the forum. Is the sick one eating normally? If it's not eating then I would suspect it has a bacterial infection due to some stress it has encountered. If it is eating normally then this is a less easily diagnosed problem.

Are you from Higgins Lake, Mi? I lived in Roscommon during my childhood years. I miss that crystal clear blue water!

(if not...disreguard) hope your frog is feeling better

He eats just fine and plays wonderfully with the female...he is just quite a bit smaller and covered on those dark spots.

If the spots started on the webbing of his hind flippers and then spread to other parts of his body I would strongly suspect Gas Bubble Disease.
