Default It's still a jungle out there

Update on my 220 gallon terrarium, set up around last fall.
The original four White's Tree frogs are alive and well, Greedo, Jaba, Chalky White & Hardeen
It gets hard to find them sometimes lol, but I managed to get two on camera that just happen to be out in the open today

Really good looking. Goes hand in hand with Cheri's "What does your tank look like?"-thread. Really looks like a jungle. Never seen anything so nicely densly planted before!

Lovely tank! Those are some happy frogs.

Currently I'm working on a 131 gallon viv for mine, wish me luck! It's a lot of work. D:

    Thank you
It's its own lil eco system in there. Never gets cleaned, the poopy breaks down in the soil. There are all sorts of bugs scurrying about, a colony of milipedes that take care of any decaying dead crickets within hours, they also eat the frog poop. The milipedes must taste bad because the frogs wont touch them.
A few crickets were lucky enough to evade the frogs, and those started breeding, so theres a gazillion infant crickets hopping around in there, i was shocked to see how tiny they were, ive never seen anything so little, its like a mini replica of the adults lol
The crickets chomp on the plants, but the plants grow so fast that im always cutting them down anyway

wow! sounds like you've got a good system going! it sounds really interesting. I think i could sit in front of it and just watch everything going on in the tank. haha

    Thank you
The bugs actually show more action than the frogs lol
my fear is ants will invade though, we have tons of those lil tiny black ants in my kitchen, i keep battling them but they keep coming back
If they make their way to my tank its all over...unless the milipedes will kill them? that would be my only hope
