    Default Retf question

Hi I was wondering which type of night bulb worked best for red eyes. I read stories of peoples red eyes still sleeping even with a night bulb. I would like to view them with out them waking up. Which bulbs do you guys recomend?

Got the same experience, red eyes seem to be sensitive for lighting.
Mine really wake up far less when i make use of a night bulb.

They are most active with a minimum amount of light.
In my experience the night bulbs are giving to much light.

Even a flashlight most of the times makes them just fold up, back to sleep.

Try getting just a little bit of light, for example by leaving the curtains open.
Misting them will make them wake up as well.
But getting them really active only works when it's nice and dark,
at least that's what my experience is with a fair amount of them over the years.

Tried out a variaty of moonlight bulbs, none of them keeps them undisturbed in my opinion. They just stay sleeping a lot more.

No, it doesn't make a difference for me.

Not all of my treefrogs are in the same tank ofcourse

But at the moment my group of red eyes consist out of 4 males and 2 females.
I used to have some more but not breeding anymore.
Getting some clutches let you end up with a couple of hundred frogs,
I ended up contacting wholesalers to please take some of my hands,
you don't wan't to know what amounts of food they take before they are old enough to sell.
